The decline began when we blew the game against Bama in Tiger Stadium in 2012 and hasn't slowed down at all since

know i am not a miles fan but for some reason I just do not want to throw this whole shite sammich we saw saturday night on Miles. something reeks. Miles had issues but man. SOmething else seems to be going o
well i agree miles inherited a far better oline and dline than O did.
miles inherited more talent than O but o has plenty of talent to not have the worst loss in the history of lsu vs msu.
if we were winning no one woukd be wanting to give credit to miles so he shouldn't gey blamed if we lose. thats being a hypocrite( not saying you are)

No way getting around that fact. Miles is more at fault than O
That shouldn't make anyone feel any better about the current state of the team.

Really? Because I do remember getting our shite pushed in by State in 2014 AT HOME. Or are you one of those idiots that is going to say we only lost by one possession so it wasn't that bad?
Posted on 9/18/17 at 9:29 pm to FulshearTiger
They did. Mullen beat LSU two out of the last four years.
Btw we have gotten really bad in the trenches. LSU gets pushed around like step children now. Been that way since 2013

holy shite
you responded to my thread. i know exactly what the discussion was because i started it.
my op...

Nothing will change until this guy is shown the door. how many coaching hires does he need to fail at for us to make a change? This past football hire might be the biggest hire in lsu history following 2 very successful coaches and he gambles by hiring a coach that has never in his life proven he can run a successful program AND THEN GIVES HIM A HUGE BUYOUT. That itself should be a grounds for termination. Its time for this guy to go.
here is your entire post....
quote:
You can blame O all you want but so far nobody has given a single example I what O did to cost us this game. The fault last night is on Aranda and Canada. Arandas gameplan was pure garbage and Canada to this point has shown nothing of the offense he ran at Pitt. We can sit here and say we are thin at WR and make excuses for this guy but it's BS. In the Pitt v Clemson game last year he was in shotgun 70% of the time bit last night we were still using run run pass punt until the 7 minute mark in the 4th quarter!!! I told a friend I was watching th game with last night after our third drive that we couldn't move their dline and would have to have 35-40 pass attempts to win the game. We had 22 with just under 8 minutes left down by 30. Last night was bad but it could be a valuable lesson that we need to extinguish all of our old habits (run heavy) and totally go to what Canada did at Pitt. His system works he upset great teams last year with it and his concepts are being used in the NFL now, look at K.C. They're the suprise team in the league and they're using his stuff to do it.
thats the entire discussion. please show me where i took anything out of context?
the fact that you cant admit you did it after i show you that yes i do know the what the discussion was about is crazy.
you can never admit to being wrong even when facts prove you wrong.
good god.
your post again.....

quote:And any that disagrees that Les Miles won his NC on the back of Saban needs to be taken out and clunked. Any Miles accolades flow straight back to Saban. I'm not a Saban fan, but face facts. The evidence is all around us and overwhelming. The true measure of Miles' ability is to look at who hired him as their new head coach. Oh wait.
Any LSU that disagrees with this is delusional.

he is the only lsu coach to make it to the title game with 100% his recruits.

out of work for 11 months doesnt erase one of the most accomplished tenures in sec history. sorry.

No it isn't I posted after that so did you. I couldn't care less you have serious social problems dude I'm done. Keep up the double standards I see that and half truths are still your bread and butter. "Saban won the sec with 3 losses" hey dumbass he also won it with 1 loss but you leave that out (half truth). The real outlier is Miles winning a natty with 2 losses yet you never knock him like you do Sabans 3 loss SEC title which is literally infinitely more common (double standard). And top it off with false stats about Miles last 5 seasons vs Sabans 5 and you have the Rick trifecta. Try either telling the truth or quit calling your opinions fact both make you look ridiculous.

Let's face it....we're no longer a top level program.....and haven't been in a while......8-9 wins looks like a max now......we want to be Bama or Clemson.....unfortunately.....we're not......and even if we fire Orgeron, could we really attract a "name" coach???.....doubtful....
Posted on 9/18/17 at 9:39 pm to Rickdaddy4188
Lmfao lmfao lmfao lmfao what's funny is you actually believe it lmfao.

quote:Interesting presumption - and wrong. More babbling speculation. He did it with 100% of the momentum and heavy lifting of his predecessor. Put the credit where it's due. Do you honestly think Miles could take a 3-8 team and turn it into an NC? Really? He was handed the keys to the kingdom... a Ferrari and very big tank of gas... and he squandered it. Saban's still winning NC's. Where's what's his name? Connect the dots, old boy... Look around.

i knock miles all the time. ive repeatedly said the losses to kentucky and arky were unacceptable.

when did i say it wasnt?

yeah used 5 FULL seasons and acknowledge it when i post

the fricking irony
Myles brennon committed under O.
UM is a defensive coach because my opinion outweighs the direct qoutes from UM and the coaches that came up under him.
youre taking my posts out of context yet that post can only be taken as me removing blame from O.

So answer the question.
Do you not think we got our shite pushed in against Mississippi State in 2014?
Do you think we played them close?
Their starting OL was on the bench with no pads on.

I never believed that nonsense. Considering many coaches have failed at LSU. I do believe that LSU is never more than 2-3 years from having a good team, thanks to the recruiting base.
