But I'd still say the gap between him in mett is very wide. I could be nitpicking about some of his passes in the videos i've posted. But, it's not worth it right now.

No one said he was in the same league as mett, not even close. But he's come a long way since last yr when all he threw was ducks at practice.

From what I've seen of the videos posted, his misses are usually high, which is not a good thing. That can be corrected though.

With another full year of learning and technique Rivers is gonna be legit. Oh, cant forget to mention putting on a few more lbs.

Hopefully we'll get to see what Rivers has early on because he should get some mop up duty early.

I love hearing stories like this. As an old guy, I still remember all too well when "high" expectations were winning 9 or 10 games...
Enter stories like this, whereby individual freakin units take so much pride in this team, and how they perform, that they feel like they've got to sign a contract to take that field/wear that uniform.

This board has really freaked itself out about a Mett injury. We have a great OLine, its very likely he wont get hurt. Worrying about it is wasted energy because if it happens, were pretty screwed but you could say that about a lot of teams with good QBs
Also I dont buy that Rivers or whoever couldnt do atleast what JJ JL did last year

You could beat everyone except USCe and Bama by just running the ball with your backs and playing good D. UF, Aubie, and Arky would give you trouble, but you could win with that and just the occasional PA Screen to OBJ.

What evidence do you have to suggest he's a thug? That he smoked some weed? What 20 year old has never done that?
Most of the stuff he says on Twitter is related to God and being the best. Very rarely does he say anything that is "ghetto" or thugish.
