Yeah making typing mistakes while using a phone is really hilarious.

Thinking a coaches heritage somehow helps him is just sad

Another spelling error, I'm sure.
Do you even know the difference between plural and possessive?

As i said, im on my phone and im talking to someone that thinks a coach's cajun heritage helps them. I didnt think spelling and grammar were high on your priority list.

So LSU figured out what no other NC level program has discovered...hire a low priced motivator HC, and hire the best coordinators you can find.

I guess we're just smarter than Bama, Ohio St, Michigan, Fla St., LSU circa 2000, etc?

No HC has ever, i repeat EVER, had a first 3 year HC record as bad as O, and went on to win an NC at any point thereafter.

So it would quite literally be a history making event. I posted a research thread a few weeks ago proving this fact.

So not only are we smarter than every other elite team out there, we're making history baby!

You guys are sheep...just blind sheep.

While I have no real objection to an incentive-laden contract, your lack of knowledge of all that is required of a HC is astonishing.

I realise a HC does all those things mentioned in the OP. However, most other HC's are expected to do all of those things in addition to providing some form of expertise towards the strategy and game planning. Of course had our last HC took the O approach he may well still be here. I'm not saying it won't work, but if it does then it would stand to reason that the HC doesn't really have to be that great in as far as his knowledge of the game. Thus the reason I believe O shouldn't be getting paid on the same level as an HC that is much more involved in the Coaching aspect vice just being a General Manager.

Why do you believe Coach O is not capable of providing expertise towards strategy and game planning? He has been a coach for many, many years. He should have some knowledge the OC and DC don't have. Aranda was quoted earlier this week saying he learns from Coach O.

Bottom line is: I support LSU, so I support O. However, I also hold him accountable for how the team plays. Too many losses-- he gets blame. All wins-- he gets credit.

He has never ran a successful offense, defense or program. He has never gotten a defensive coordinator job offer at a major program. He took over an ole miss program that just 2 years before had a top 10 finish and ran it into the ground.

Please point to any facts that show Ed orgeron knows anything about game planning. If his x and o's were so well thought of, people would be offering him coaching jobs higher than dline coach.

What's he supposed to say?

I support lsu winning under orgeron but that doesnt mean i have to act like his heritage somehow helps him.

Nope. I had to take a two week sabbatical after the hire, just to save the rest of the hair i have left.

Guess i didn't bitch enough. Kinda jealous TBH.

And it's not "he has never ran". You are confusing tenses. The correct way is "he has never run".

Another typo?

Jesus... STOP already... AGAIN you have NOT followed O around everywhere he has been... You have ZERO clue what he was involved in at ANY stop he has made....

YOU point me to FACTS that he hasn't been involved....

The facts are that he's a career position coach and has never coordinated an offense or defense. Does that mean that someone with that profile cannot possibly contribute significantly to an offensive/defensive gameplan? No, but it's strongly suggestive of that.
