I’ll listen to his show if I’m driving. Seems to know his stuff. I like Mascona too, but don’t particularly care for some of his guests

His show is honestly not bad. The commercials drive me crazy though.

I think he covers SEC football better than any other radio personality. Just because the radio show is based in Atlanta does not mean he discusses UGA all the time. I listen to him on the local Mobile, AL radio and his affiliates are growing all over the south so it’s a true SEC biased program. Naturally he talks more about UGA, Florida, Bama, LSU and Auburn because at this point in time they are the better SEC teams that draw the most interest but he honestly has good takes on all the SEC schools and brings on quality guest from all schools. He even throws a little ACC teams into the mix. He went to Auburn but I think he goes out of his way not to act like an Auburn biased homer. I don’t always agree with him but his thoughts are logic based and he can say things in a manner that really never piss me off. Even Mascona acts very professional and serious when he’s on his show to discuss LSU. I look at his show as very factual, informed and pro SEC. if you want to hear about the entire conference Chuck Oliver has the best show the guy is sharp. Also for those that gamble he throws a lot of nuggets out there that you don’t hear anywhere else.

He’s much better than listening to Stephen A Smith talk about the Knicks, Lakers, Yankees, or Lebron everyday.

Lived in Atlanta for ten years.

He also does Chuck & Chernoff on 680 TheFan.

I enjoy him and like the fact that he only focuses on football.

He did yesterday.

I lived in Atlanta for many years. Oliver was on most of those years. Pretty matter of,fact. Not a homer for anyone. Understandably if you are on ATLANTA radio you will talk about Georgia. If I had an impression from the past it was more of an Auburn bias than anything.

It is so much easier to,get inside info on Georgia, Clemson, Auburn, Bama sitting in Atlanta.

Yesterday Oliver said he got to interview Burrow three times in two years. One was at media days in the summer.

They talk to our local pundits. Guys like Oliver, Forde, pretty much any national guy get info from our local know it alls.. Those guys were trashing Orgeron and our program all the way through the end of 2018. Now we are geniuses

quote:

he went to Auburn

He was an offensive lineman on the Auburn team that lost the Earthquake game.
He has said in the past that he hated LSU for a long time because he thought we stole a National Championship from them that night. That was their only regular season loss . They ended up finishing 7th in the country that year.
