Don't discount the power of rankings either. If we somehow sneak into the top 25 after beating New Mexico and beat Auburn handily (big if) we could surge into the top 15 ahead of the Tenn matchup. It's not likely but 9 of the current top 25 have 1 loss so not impossible either. A top 15 matchup would definitely warrant discussion for taking the primetime slot.

LSU isn’t getting ranked for a win over Auburn hoss. Only got a couple votes this week and New Mexico, Auburn not going to move the needle much. Beating UT will put us in the top 20 for sure tho

Now if A&M only has 1 loss or we lose to Auburn then yeah it's a no brainer. But LSU/Tenn being the primetime game is 100% possible as of now.
