True. Give me your top 5 guys, not named Will Wade, who would reasonably consider the job.

Nope. I don't invest a whole lot in men's BB, but I don't like being embarrassed. The self-righteousness that pushed Wade out was embarrassing. The "Curley Hallman" of basketball coaching now is an embarrassment. Give me a guy who goes about .500 in conference (or at least sniffs it) and I'll say, "Helluva improvement over McMahon." Hell, almost anyone would be.
No. what's going to happen to you McMen is: Wade (or SOMEBODY) is going to come in, change the culture, get resources, etc., and then win and you will say, "Well, if they gave McMahon the resources, he would have won."
He couldn't win with a Harry Potter magic wand, my guys. "Anybody but that can of lima beans."

So, you’re a troll………shocker!
Nope. I'm responding to the emotion driven fan boys who post ridiculously. These are the "men" who criticize women for "thinking with their emotions" yet they do the exact same thing when talking about coaches/players that they like.
Bashing Coach Jones gave Ben Simmons a free pass that he did not deserve. I called it out.
There is a delusional element to the LSU fanbase, the over-the-top worship of a particular coach (in this instance, Wade). I like the cogent arguments for his re-hire: his record (at times), his fan appealing personality, etc. I ridicule the over the top stuff: "I want my wife to have his baby" (which is from an actual post), "the General", etc. He's not Nick Saban and never will be, but some posters act as if he is.
There are legitimate reasons for LSU to consider hiring him. There are better reasons not to do so. Would advise an employer to rehire an employee who had to be dismissed, or who had problems? LIkely, no.

If memory serves,
1) he was suspended for potentially breaking the rules
2) he told the AD he didn't do it
3) AD said ok, then sign this modified contract that allows us to fire you for cause if you did
4) NCAA investigation said he did
5) AD used the new contract clause to fire him, likely in an attempt to save the entire AD from lack of institutional control
Seems pretty straightforward and not embarrassing in the slightest.

I don't enjoy losing, but we can be honest about what got us to where we are now.

So that’s your excuse for the nonsense you used to post about Johnny being a great guy and being invited to his house?

The time to get Wade back was a year ago. That ship has sailed, y'all are all wasting your time.

They also completely ignore the horrible late season performance of NC State. Losing 8 of the last 10 games does not bode well for Wade.
The Wolfpack finished the season 12–19 and 5–15 in ACC play to finish in sixteenth place.
The Wolfpack lost their next two ACC games, one by three points at Virginia and by eighteen points to rival Wake Forest. They ended the losing streak with a one point win over Notre Dame. The Wolfpack couldn't gather any momentum from that win as they went on to lose their next nine games. They only faced one ranked team during the stretch, number two Duke.

We were told that doesn't matter and you can turn around a program in one year, so there's no excuse for McMahon.

You’re a day late and a dollar short. I guess technically, you are 36 days too late.
Daddy will be home soon. Very soon.

McMahon sucks. What's confusing is posters who think the ONLY option is keeping McMahon or hiring wade
