My biggest problem was him saying he wasn't going to leave, then waking up CHRISTMAS DAY and seeing the Dolphins private jet at the BR Metro

I'm not sure why anyone was surprised by this. He did the same thing to Sparty and then left in the middle of the night.

It is not only not "fantastical", it is fairly consistent based on reports from the inside and, in fact, likely to be substantially true.

It was true.

Miles was the complete opposite. Didn't matter how high or low on the totem pole you were, he would give you the time of day and would remember your name.

yet we are mad, selfishly, because he didnt stick around to do it here. That's not at all how life works. Do you people live in a bubble?

That's not what I'm saying. I'm hardly "mad" that he didn't stick around.

He got the NFL itch and went to the pros, didn't do so well, and rethought his decision to do so and returned to what he was best at. My thing is that he left LSU on Christmas Day, didn't do so hot in the pros, returned not only to the conference he left two years prior but to the same side of the conference. All of that doesn't sit well with me.

My whole point was that he is saying the same thing after retiring at Alabama that he said when left LSU.

"I'll always be a Tiger." "I'll always be part of the Alabama circle." Well no kidding, you were successful in basically every sense of the word but you did it for one person, Saban. You got paid a ton of money and still do and still will with whatever tv show he ends up on.

He doesn't care about what happens at LSU anymore than he cares about what happens at Alabama.

That's the reality of it. I don't wish any ill on the man at all but it's obvious he cares about himself. He worked hard and has more money than he knows what to do with but I don't think he's a nice person. That's not a shot at him, it's just how he seems to carry himself.

Don’t you think that sounds just a little bit fantastical?

I can believe it easily. Heard similar things from other people.

One night we were going to a basketball game and parked in the west stadium lot. We were walking past the east door of the athletic admin building. I had my daughter on my shoulders. As we walked past the doors they blew open and we hear GD frick sob, everything else. I turned around and it's Nick coming out with 2 or 3 gofers, and he's throwing one of his patented sideline fits. Walked right past us like we weren't there.

Oh, and by the way,

Anyway, frick Alabama. frick their fans. frick their team. frick the SEC home office in Birmingham. frick the whole lot of em.
