The best way to look at that scenerio is this. Take each team and put them in each other teams schedule and look at what their record would be playing each other team's schedule.

UAB could have just as easily lost to the teams they lost to. Who cares about being the best loser? Who had the best wins? If it comes down to Bama/UGA or Bama/Texas then you have to look at head-to-head...it even says so in the committee's rule book.
