You may be surprised at how many people are going to complain about the chant "suck that tiger dick" being audible to their children.

Neck will be taken away just like Oh-we-oh was and there is nothing you can do about it...that is unless the kids stop altering the words. Then it will probably be with Tiger fans for years to come.

I don't think ANYONE wants "Neck" banned, not even us "old folks." That's the point. The university has banned music and songs that people like, ALOT, because of vulgar additions or alterations.

Why not learn something from these previous experiences, and show some class? That way, the issue doesn't need to come up, and these discussions don't have to happen? Then us folks with kids could also feel comfortable bringing younger children to Tiger Stadium so they can learn at a young age what a special thing Saturdays there are supposed to be.

There just isn't a reason to add this BS to the end of songs, it doesn't make the games anymore fun. the only people these chants hurt are the students

Dead, solid, perfect. But I might add that it also hurts the reputation of LSU and the entire State of Louisiana.

Eh, doesn't bother me that much in this regard, but I don't have small children. It just reinforces that a part of the fanbase is trailer trash, and should bother ever fan to some degree.

Neck has been a "problem" all year and they haven't done anything about it yet. So why would they now? It was much more clear at the Tennessee game.

it won't if they take it away, it will just hurt the Tiger Stadium experience.

LSU can ban it, no problem. I don't think they want to.

they've taken away Tiger Rag and Owe-E-Owe for much less than this. History will repeat itself

But they haven't yet. It should have been gone after the Tennessee game and it wasn't. Like I said, I think they're just turning their cheek on this one. The stadium likes Neck, not just students.

I'm like that too.
I don't take my daughter to games right now and if I did, I would probably know what parts to make sure she doesn't hear. I can do that because my tickets are in the SEZ. If I was a donor in the NEZ, then I'd be sure to write a letter.

As it is now, it does embarrass me more as an alum because the level of intelligence of people that find chants like this as humorous is usually on the lower end of the scale. I'd like to think that it takes a little intelligence to go to the school where I got my degree from.

they definitely will if it keeps getting louder

If they didn't care, Tiger Rag and Owe-E-Owe would be being played. The same administration has taken a stand on it in the past, why wouldn't they do so here?

Try using some logic

I agree, but if it comes down to it and more people start to complain then it will be taken away. There is a very specific precedent that has been set twice.

They probably haven't had enough complaints yet, but they will as more and more people hear what the students are saying.
