with the coaching changes attrition is bound to happen. i'm curious where we will end up when all is said & done on numbers for 2022.
Didn't we start 2021 season with mid-to-high 70s (77 or 79) kids on scholarship? I'm assuming we'll sign a full 25.
79 - est # on football scholarship 2021
-8 - sr scholarship players
-7 - grad scholarship players
-15 - est # lost to transfer portal
+ 25 - 2022 signing class
74 - net # on football scholarship 2022
as long as we don't lose more than 15 to the transfer portal, we should be fine.

Expectations are high at LSU and Tiger fans expect the team to compete with the best and certainly not go 6-6 or worse. But make no mistake if Bama goes 6-6 their fans would be calling for arguably the greatest coach in the history of college football to be fired. LSU or Bama should never go 6-6.

If we played in the ACC or big 12 it would be different. Fans need to be realistic.

Oh, Im not saying his process isn't proven.
I'm saying I hope it doesn't become a stupid Rant catchphrase.
