They are new and have no data as to how much food each conscessions location goes through. I would assume as they do a few more of these games, they will build a database for food pars that will provide adaquate food supply for each of the areas. I will tell you, as someone who does this for a living, that the perfect plan is to run out of ever single thing right before you close. Different items sell faster than others.
You mean to tell me LSU didn't keep the data from the previous supplier for the last 5+ years?
Thats dumb.

There is a Papa John's around 404 or so. I know because I stood in line for 20 min because my son wanted a pizza. With about 6 people left before I got to the front I noticed they started to run out. This was before the game started so I gave up.
This idea of a new line for every item you want is absurd. So you now spend half the game in line. It's certainly not making the workers more efficient.
So now its;
Son: I want pizza
Wife : Grab me a hot dog
Me: frick both of you

You are such a bitch. How shitty is your life that you repost a shitty post you made in another thread.

after waiting 15 minutes in a line in the west upper i was told they were only accepting cash in that line. no sign or anything. told the poor girl to go ring me up on another computer then.
I get that they are all volunteers, but our concession workers are among the most unorganized and slowest out there.

Y'all remember national company Aramark took over concessions this year for first time, it's not LSU. Gonna take them a while to crunch numbers, supply vs demand

I did have some observations. I'll start with the good:
1. The drink refill is a good idea and we did get the refills, but that's a LOT of Coke. It will be nice during games when I have the flask going
2. The open area in SEZ without the dorms was much better and closer to what I've always said they should do there. I've always had visions of embracing the whole colosseum look and adding more shops, more concessions and bathrooms and real restaurant. I've heard they are looking at a number of those things. Also, flow in and out of the stadium should be much better.
3. Looks like they added condiments for burgers and dogs like they have at the Box. Guy next to me had a hamburger that actually looked pretty good and he had lettuce, mayo, tomato, onions, etc.
Then, the bad:
1. Despite the fact that there was far more space, there seemedto be fewer options
2. The best thing in TS last year was the City Pork nachos. I could not find a City Pork anywhere.
3. There was a Cajun Corner about every 100 feet, it seemed. We don't need that many of those, we need more variety
4. My son got an Oreo Churro. Smelled aewsome, tasted pretty good, but it was smaller than a regular churro and was $6. There weren't many people buying them and I almost walked away when they said $6.
5. They still have the shitty circa 1987 TVs in the concourse. Seriously, flat screens are not that expensive, Joe.

It is in LSU's best interest to do as much sales as possible as they do get a percentage. I'm sure the past years sales figures were shared with Aramark. It's kind of like the Mike Tyson quote. Everybody's got a plan till they get punched in the mouth. It's tough for a new group to come in and get it right on their first game. Again, I'm not trying to apologize for those guys as it's a really big company that has done tons of stadium work. You will however find a tons of problems if you google Aramark and Stadium Concessions.

That game had wayyyyy less than a normal game in TS
There is no excuse for running out. Was LSU expecting a crowd of 40k?

All I need is something to put my whiskey in.

Novel idea; how bout eating before you come to the game so you wont have to stuff your face with over priced junk at the game.
I'm pretty sure nobody PLANS to rely on shitty overpriced concession food for their dinner, but plans change. I would've LIKED to stop before hand, but the a-hole who got in a wreck and caused traffic on my route to the game had other plans. And considering the last few years it takes an additional 2 hours (+ whatever commute you have) just to get out of campus thanks to contraflow, then yeah a typical human needs some sustenance at some point during that 5-6 hour window (especially if you're hungover)

Just stop at a restaurant or fast food place before hand.
If you're already on campus this is just as shitty an option as the stadium food. Any decent places within walking distance are packed and trying to drive out and come back before kickoff is a logistical nightmare
