Rewatched it and man if Jones would have pump faked like he was running it in and lobbed the ball to Clark, he would have walked in easily for the TD.

That needs to be a part of that play and executed at some point. It was wide open.

Said the same thing when I watched it live. Honestly thought that’s what the strategy was at first.

I was scratching my head about that. We ran that play with the same personnel and formation. Found it to be rather predictable since the only other time we ran that play was for a TD.

Our play calling was disappointing last night. Didn't think that would be an issue. Though we were smart to stick with the run and Jones started getting chunks in the 2nd half. Leavitt missing some open guys didn't help, but overall, it wasn't very imaginative play calling to keep the D on their toes.

No doubt. Throws could have been better, although they appeared to be catchable.

So much for playing vanilla against La tech and the secret play book. Does anyone know where coach O left the binder??

Saw the same thing. On the bright side Leavitt got us down there in position to to take the lead. Leavitt was not the best QB last night but he WILL get better. We gonna be fine. I don't care about this loss. I want to see how we get better as the year goes on.
