alabama didn't deserve to be in that game. they didn't earn the right to be there. you could put the 49ers in the superbowl last yr after losing in the playoffs, since they were arguably the second best team in the country. and maybe they have a better day than seattle and win round 2. but it wouldnt matter, because they didn't win the games to deserve to be there. alabama didn't even win their division. and they lost a game at home.

It sure was. It did however change the way I follow sports as an adult. Nothing can be assumed and don't get too high or low. It's a travesty such greatness ended with a black eye

all we needed was for Okie St not to have blown that game at lowly Iowa St. For one thing, if their potential winning FG had not missed by an inch or two, we likely would have one more BCS title and Bama one less
