LSU has always owned A&M
That's pretty much true, except in football games played in Kyle Field-- I really hate the fact we always lose there

My wife and I were living in Houston at the time and drove over for the game... I can't remember how we got the tickets, but we were 1st row between the plate and the 1st base dugout. I can just remember being so happy to win and beat the Ags.

It was an all afternoon and late night listening to the games on the radio.
For the last inning I went out in my car in the driveway. I didn’t want to wake up my 4 year old daughter and wife because it was near 10 o’clock. When Pat Garrity got the double off the wall and when we got the final out, I was yelling my head off in the car. It’s a good thing that one of my neighbors or a police car wasn’t passing my driveway!!
What a great memory of the game that probably started the magic of LSU Baseball.

Skip writes about it in his book. One of the fascinating things was when the teams switched dugouts between games, he told his players to look the Aggie players right in the face as they passed them. The Aggies all looked defeated. He knew we were going to win.

I'm really going to miss Skip when he's gone. God bless him for what he did for this program!

That’s only been the case as of late and really I don’t count 2018 and 2020 because those were flukes.
22 and 24 were beat downs.
