Will say this, he better win it this year. Hardly much competition, getting a lot of carries and yards and LSU is winning. NExt year, he may have stiffer competition and its feasible his production goes down.

I hope he never does it again. He can just win it (or not, it's a meaningless piece of shite anyway) and let the trophy do the posing.

the media shunned him so hard for it, now every paper and every network will play that come heisman ceremony time. ESPN is gonna eat that up.

He needs to do it sometime this year for the highlight reel. Otherwise they'll have to use his freshman one.

humility is an act that is put forward to not appear cocky. You think for one second that if coach gave Guice twice as many carries as Fournette that he would sit back and be "humble" and say "well, maybe I need to go work harder so coach will give me more snaps".. um no...part of being the best is KNOWING you're the best, and not letting anyone tell you differently.

That's not what I was saying at all. What I was saying is, even if you are the best, and know you're the best...that isn't the end. You still work to get better. Thats humility. Last year he wasn't the best. But he was humble to work to get better and not curse out the coaches and act like a fool like the qb from the A&M who thinks he should be handed the job. Even though he is the best back in college this year, he knows he isn't handed the job and has to keep going out and working. And he dreams of the NFL. He is not the best back in the NFL. Could he be. We don't know, but he is humble enough to know that he needs to keep working and earn that job if he wants to be.

You don't become the best at what you do by being humble.

idiotic statement.

You can be the best AND be humble. They're not mutually exclusive. Herschel and Barry Sanders immediately jump to mind.

Just flip the ball to the ref and jog back to the sideline. It says to everyone: "I EXPECT to score TDs. No big deal. I scored this one, and I'll score a lot of others. No big celebration necessary."

I always thought guys that go nuts after a TD seem like they're surprised they did something good. Never understood that mindset.

It looks so much more impressive to basically yawn and go about your business.
