That series did nothing to harm us. We have no competitive disadvantage in the postseason because of it.
If you want to bitch about something, bitch about the 10 run rule. We had 14 games end early because of that. 14 games, 28 innings where you could have brought in guys from the bullpen with zero pressure on them, to get live action pitches against real batters, to work out the kinks and get some sort of rhythm and confidence. People laughed early in the season when I said we needed those innings to figure out what we have, nobody laughing now when we go to the pen.

Getting a super regional at home either way? You don’t get any super regional unless you win the first regional. Not a given.

Why do you hate conference championships? LSU had a shot to add to the legacy and flat out blew it. It amazes me so many are ok with that. You play for championships… league, national or whatever. LSU had a chance to land this and they let it wiggle off of the hook.

The only legacy that matters at LSU is national champions for baseball. Winning the SEC is cool but you don’t get legacy for that. GTFO.
