As great of a game as I feel like he called, why in the world give the back up to the back up a series in the third when at that point Trask looked great. They had rolled on us since the first drive stop , so on that note , thanks Dan for giving the defense a break from the kid picking us apart. You sir are the real mvp. haha

Mullen would do that at State as well. Crazy 4th down call with qb option. He truly believes that he knows more football than anybody else

I just like how he immediately started making excuses post game and blamed the loss solely on injuries. What a huge pussy that guy is. Every team has injuries. I hate to tell him but it wouldn’t have made a difference. The offensive line was on it last night.

I'm assuming Mullen laid out his substitution plan prior to the game and utilized it even though it disrupted his offense.

According to Herbstreit/Fowler during the game, he said that he would do this before the game. Even though it seemed to everyone else that it was a bad idea, given how Trask was performing, he did it anyway.

Not only was this a horrible coaches decision, if he was planning on running an option on the last play of the game, why not bring in the more mobile wildcat QB?
