Of course they are. It's a long season and you don't get to where LSU and Texas are with luck or my mistake. The two best teams are playing for the championship. I'm sure both teams take each other very seriously.

The talk in this thread reminds me of the Zero U fans attitude before the '03 BCSNC game.

"Scrappy" is usually a nice way of saying a team isn't very good and playing way over their heads.

Texas is scrappy. They have had a magical ride beating such heavyweights as Army, BC, and Southern Miss. Their fairy tale run reminds me of our run last year.

It will end the same way.

I couldnt care less who UT pitches against us. We've all heard countless stories overthe last 20 years about how LSU wouldnt be able to handle so and so on the mound only to see that guy out of the game by the third inning.

I do worry about LSU potentially misplaying some bunts on the infield and self destructing in that type of way. I wouldnt say I'm expecting it, but it could happen as you dont see lots of teams bunting over and over again in the SEC.
