Did Texas and ISC roster their players that had attended mini camps?

Cole Hutson is listed on website roster, but I think he has been for a while.

From everything I’ve seen, Cole Hutson did not sign an NFL contract.

It’s only an issue if they signed an NFL contract. Attending a camp, participating in a workout, or even playing in a preseason game does not create an eligibility problem. According to the NCAA, it’s the signature on a professional contract that causes the issue. I don’t agree with that distinction, but that’s what this entire fight is about.

Thanks for clarifying.

According to the SEC, they had to officially withdraw from the draft first. Did those players keep their names in the draft?

To my understanding seniors don’t put their name in the draft it’s automatically entered for them. This is more about number two in that picture as Blueghost said

That is arbitrary. These guys sign nil contracts for money. What is the difference?

Texas (OL Cole Hutson), South Carolina (K Ethan Sanchez), Kentucky (LB Alex Afari), Missouri (DT Sterling Webb), and LSU(DE Junior Tuihalamaka) all have a player who attended a mini camp on their roster. Pretty sure there are others in other conferences.
