Man, this is pretty deflating. Their guys are constantly jumping out to 2-0, 2-1, 3-1 counts and fighting off strike 3. We’re going 0-2,1-2 and flailing constantly.

And every team we play knows it. They throw 1st pitch strikes with ease because they know we aren't swinging.
We fall behind they throw us junk we can't hit and we swing.
We never changed our approach to starting pitchers and it kills us on several levels.
