I'm sure that LSU will bring a pep band, but the full band won't be there since they're going to Atlanta a week later.

LSU Band vs TEXAS A&M Band.

That would be like JACKSONVILLE STATE Band vs LSU Band in 2016.

Most entertaining band in the SEC (A&M) vs one that's NOT and rapidly on the decline. (Too small, weak brass, uninspired/boring shows, weak direction/management)

It would be best if TGBFTL just sends a Pep Band to avoid embarrassment.......

Why, with a screen name like this, would you be deriding Tiger Band???

Just send a better trumpet section than we sent to the Arkansas game. As a brass player myself, I understand the effects of cold weather on the instrument and tuning..but the trumpets sounded awful last weekend...

Agreed. A&M has a phenomenal band and they are fun to watch. And by no means am I a marching band kind of guy.

I went to the A&M game in College Station in 2016 and the A&M band is very good.

I mean, they only do ONE march for every game, every year, forever. So yeah, they better be good at the one march they do.

4&8's band is so overrated. They play the same 1/2 time show since 1929. play the same tunes. Look up overated and see a pic of the 4&8's band

Former Tiger Band trumpet here-

Yeah, I could actually hear how cold it was at the game every time the brass started playing! (Brrrrrrrrr!!! I could almost feel that cold mouthpiece and all the extra spit/condensation collecting by the spit valve!)

A&M’s band is great at military style marching drills, but entertaining they are definitely not.
