I will give it to you on one of your points: Augie definitely did a shitty managing job on Monday.

Again you show your lack of knowledge. You stated they are better hitters. If you were making a observation on the series, you should have said "UT's hitter have been better than LSU's in this series." Even if you would have stated that, you have not listed any quantification for such a statement. Again, LSU outhit UT in game one in every category except for HRs.

You seem to be basing your argument on their DH's fantastic CWS. So is he a better hitter than Dean or Schimpf because he has more HR than either in the last 2 games?

OK, Helo whatever you say. Based on these two games, and only these two games, LSU batters have come up short compared to UT, esp with respect to starting pitching. Of course, everyone understands that the pitching/hitting contest is like two sides of a coin.

Whatever your storied accomplishments as an expositor of the great game, you seem to have difficulty understanding that LSU had better roll out a vastly better starting effort or they will likely lose. Yes, it's that simple.

Hate to admit it, but based solely on the two games, UT has much better hitting and starting pitching. If Garrido does not pull his Monday starter UT wins in 2.

Raynaudo has to pitch a whale of a game.

I agree! LSU won the first game thanks to some bloop hits and seeing eye grounders. Texas hit 5 solo homers.Had just one of them been with a man on base,LSU would have lost game.

Texas pitching is far superior to that of the Tigers. After Coleman and Ranaudo, there is a huge drop off in the quality of pitching.
LSU tries to pull every pitch instead of going with the pitch especially with 2 strikes.

I hope the Tigers can win tonite, but unless they quit trying to pull every pitch and go the opposite way with the outside pitch,Texas should win.

AR is the only pitcher Tigers have that can match up with Horns.

Hope the Tigers can avoid striking out so much.

We were not focused last night and we will be tonight. Anthony will pitch the game of his life and we will be national champions. We won the first game no matter how you look at it. And lost the second no matter how you look at it. This is why we play the games, so we can see who is better.

Game 1 was a miracle win for us

Yea timely 2 out hitting is a "miracle win".

LSU won the first game bottom line. Texas made zero errors and last time I checked a homerun is still only worth 1 run!

Now UT did outplay LSU yesterday and LSU looked really flat which I have a hard time understanding. Let's hope LSU comes to play tonight because as we all know this is it!!!!

White Tiger, Texas squeaked through their way to Omaha, and almost blew it a couple of times while in Omaha, having to rally. They are not unbeatable.

GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR HANDS MISTER, AND GET POSITIVE. Right now, you're like a black hole, sucking life out of everything that gets near you.

The thing is white tiger if you let two games make your mind up that UT is > LSU that makes you very uninsightful and a shallow fan.

Gosh, thanks. I never considered not being a fan. That changes everything...

The point is trying to analyze the teams sans "feeling". If you want touchy-feely tune into Oprah...
