Damn, I missed all the fun.

Based on Mett, yes. If it's based on last year, it doesn't look too promising. While it is a known fact that LSU has been dominant in sending players to the NFL, it's also a known fact that these players really ain't known for including NFL caliber quarterbacks. That is apparently what Bradshaw was voicing his opinion on, not the overall program. Flynn and Mett were the exceptions, but neither were recruited and developed as a whole by this staff. Lord knows Jamarcus can't be included. While I wished that Bradshaw had not been so critical of LSU, knowing that a number of fans would typically resort to name calling and personal attacks, his comments can't be factually disputed. Whether or not he's correct with his opinion, and many fans have voiced opinions and speculations on this, LSU's quarterback situation has been a major question mark under this staff for years. More than one sportscaster has commented on it. Whether or not he is correct, Bradshaw's quarterback credentials are impressive. So he might have some insight. As far as his mental capacity is concerned, and granted he is goofy as hell, I find it hard to believe that he could have been so successfull without having some sorta smarts.

In the last 10 years, the entire conference has produced 3 quality NFL QBs.
Cam Newton
Matthew Stafford
Jay Cutler
That's it.

Because BH is a play maker he takes too much risk for conservative Miles. Miles want somebody at QB to just manage the game so he can run the ball in the middle 80% of the time. Looks like another boring season is coming up.

He's just chapped because he was too dumb to get a scholly from LSU!
Who's the one being too dumb here? Anyone that watched us last year knows how pitiful our QB play was. Even with poor play by Jennings, Harris still didn't get much experience for the coming season. For those that say differently, remember Arkansas beat us 17-0 in the poorest offensive game in years, maybe back to the BCS game where Jefferson didn't cross the fifty until the forth quarter.

It's true that they were at Lsu when he came but it's obvious anyone that says he was "spotted" players that actually improved while he was coach is trying to discredit their success in order to aid their agenda driven argument.

I do love how people forget that ankle injury.

Yeah, the four-time Super Bowl champion, hall of fame quarterback, who has also been a lead analyst on the network that broadcasts the NFL's most valuable television contract is just a stupid idiot, who doesn't know anything. Who the heck does he think he is, commenting on Les' ability to manage his "game managers"?!!!! IDIOT! HACK!

So what was wrong about what he said...

It's funny how people overlook the significance of that type of injury. Recovery speaking it's better to fracture an ankle than to severely sprain it. Those things can nag for a long time.

It amazes me that people forget in 2011 SECCG that LSU didn't cross the fifty yard line on offense the entire first half. Against UGA. LSU's first 8 possessions ended in negative yards, 7 punts and 1 fumble.

I've honestly in my life havent seen where head coaches are directly responsible and credited with "QB development" except recently where lsu fans are looking to shite on the head coach.
Please someone point me to where a head coach has ever been solely responsible for qb development on any football team at any level.
It's a pretty unfair criticism to attack your own program but I shouldn't be surprised with lsu fans.

I know. I'm pissed to this day about winning an SEC championship game by 30 points.

I would take Bradshaw's old arse over Jennings right now. Let's be honest, Tom Brady could walk through the door and Miles would still start AJ. There is no way Harris gets significant time. AJ will still be a shite sandwich at QB and the pumpers will make excuses. LSU under Miles is the crazy bitch that just happens to be your soul mate. Damn it I love LSU. The insanity is awesome. It sure as hell gives us something to talk about. Geaux Tigers!

quote:Jimbo was here in 2005-2006. Same guy that won a BCSCG last year, made the playoffs this year and has his primadonna QB likely drafted #1 overall. You're crediting Miles for JR (4 years under Jimbo)? For Flynn (4 years under Jimbo prior to the Wizard for his last season)?

People that think Bradshaw hates LSU are absolutely fricking retarded. The dude loves LSU. He reps the shite out of them when he does his Fox broadcast. Stop being a bunch of bitches that he said something that is a very common opinion for sports analyst regarding LSU
