Chase wasn’t given “secondary coverage”

He was often covered by the other teams #1 CB and he often dominated them.

That doesn’t mean Marshall or Jefferson are bad. But did either catch a TD against Terrell (16th overall pick)? Nope

Did either catch a TD with CJ Henderson (#9 overall pick) on their backs? Nope

Something can be said for Making big plays against elite talent. That’s what give Chase an edge.
