a lot of people are on Sheps bandwagon, but he will have a lot to learn at college level, him and Pryor compare in running abilty, that is all, J Jefferson has both beat right now, passin the ball, IMO.

Shep is faster
Shep has better mechanics
Shep has better intangibles
Shep has a quicker release(goes with mechanics)

Pryor has better pure arm strength
Pryor is a lot taller

I think shep is better but after watching the ua game you can see he has alot to work on. He has got to learn to sit in the pocket longer and not just take off running every play. He also has to get used to the speed of the game.

you should not include the time he spent on the ground due to a shitty o-line as his time in the pocket.

Quite possibly. Definitely not QB's at NFL level. See Troy Smith who's days are numbered.

Yet Joe Flacco a relative unknown Pro Style QB in College is headed for being a franchise player.

BTW, this is why I do not want to lose Jarrett Lee.

Also, please tell me how Terelle Pryor improved OSU's record over last year when Boeckman started the whole year?

anyone see how pryor was lining up at wide reciever alot last night?? Then back at qb?? I see the exact same thing happening with shpard. Man shep is flat out scary in the open field. I also see him getting some hadoffs and pitches.

One is a college QB the other is a high school QB....and I'm not being sarcastic. Pryor just completed a very successful season with a BCS bowl- Shepard just played in a high school allstar game.

That would be great. He's obviously a huge talent. However, I'm not sold on his passing ability.

Furthermore, for those of you out there claiming JLee should never start again at LSU and that RS is now 2 on the depth chart best be careful. You might get your wish. That would be devastating as Lee is our best Pro Style QB.

Since Shep just got out of high school ball a better comparison would be Pryor vs. Jefferson, and I think Jefferson is a much better passer with more poise than Pryor and a comparable runner with better decision making and game management. These observations stem from watching the game last night.

a better comparison would be Pryor vs. Jefferson

Pryor completed over 60% of his passes and ran for about 50 ypg. JJ completed less than 50% and ran for 19 ypg.

Pryor didn't throw it very well last night, but put up some decent numbers this season for a true freshman.

Wait til RS gets here to make this call. TP definitely has a size advantage.

Just from the way their recruiting went, I like RS attitude better.
