I think there is a strong possibility we could play against each other in the SEC championship. I think both teams are being vastly underrated.

I think we've got a better shot at making it. Auburn's our only real tough west opponent. If you guys beat Florida and Georgia both this year, I'll be shocked. But good luck.

You may be on to something.Tennessee is flying under the radar as much as any good football team with potential.UT's offense could be very explosive this year, which could give the D some time to shore itself up .

I agree. Georgia and Florida are obviously the media darlings, but 'the media' is quick to forget that Tennessee was the best team in the East last season. As far as LSU is concerned, I don't think they're flying under the radar. I'm pretty sure everyone knows who they are and what they are capable of.

It will be a tall order. You squeaked by last year and your opponents have all improved and gotten more experience. Not saying it's impossible but you will need some luck (as will we).

Im tellen you man that our secondary will be one of the best in the country. We have an All American in Berry, and we have Demetrice Morley coming back this year. If we beat Florida then I think we win the east.

I'll take your word for it. I was mainly going by the SEC preview show on UT Wed nite on FOX SS and what they were saying the coaches were saying.

Tennessee still has Arian Foster who is a great power back and workhorse.

Not to mention Crompton has taken a lot of meaningful snaps and lit LSU up in 06. Their offense does have a lot of potential.

IF they can only lose to UGA or UF but not both, they have a good shot at running the table. But, they have to hope for UGA or UF to lose 2 sec game. It can happen, but it'd be tough.

It wouldn't surprise me a bit to see UGA end up like Auburn 03. But, I don't see UF losing more than 2, unless South Carolina can shock people.

I agree....I don't think there is anyway that Saban (on his first trip back to Tiger Stadium as an opponent) and Bama can leave with a victory

I am thinking the same thing...

But I highly doubt in their opening game, they get shut out 23-0 by Ga. Southern at home

Im really interested in seeing you guys play both UF and UGA. If you can win both those games it will be highly appreciated.

A decent possibility, I think. If y'all can win one of at Auburn, at Georgia, or Florida at home, I think a tie is very possible. Y'all have a tougher SEC schedule than Florida, but I think that Miami game for them might bang them up a little going into SEC play. They lost 4 games last year, so 2 this year is certainly not out of the question. It's crazy that a team that won the East last year(including an arse kicking of Georgia) and has a 1,000 yard rusher and experienced QB coming back is flying so under the radar.

Not if you still have that dude in the secondary that Jacob Hester crushed.

Our secondary hit your receivers very hard. We knocked Doucet out of the game.

Tennessee is an intriguing program. Fulmer is like the Tubby of the East - he always seems to get more out of his players than he should, on paper. Not that Tennessee doesn't do well in recruiting, but so much of that talent has to be imported, and the other challenges that Tennessee has in the East makes it pretty impressive that ya'll made it in the SEC-CG last year.

I'm just glad that we have won a few against Tennessee lately. The first 60 years of that series sucked (for us). We've at least made it a respectable 50/50 over the last 10 meetings.

Good luck.

You need to beat Bama's arse to the point of demoralization.

That's my pick, especially with all the injuries and turmoil so far in Athens and Gainesville. The Vols do have a tough schedule, though.
