Because the RF had to dive for the ball to catch it. He should’ve been just far enough off the bag in case he catches it, he can still tag up. Even if the ball falls in front of the RF, Feduccia could only advance one base.

Even if he's standing on 2nd, I don't think he tags there. Feduccia is pretty slow and that ball was hit very shallow. Regardless, because the guy had to dive to catch it, Feduccia is going to be standing between 2nd and 3rd. It's just not a situation where a slow runner is going to be tagging up.
