Their(Tenn) DL hasn't always been flashy over the years, but they at least always do a good job of covering their gaps. (Allowing their LBs to make plays.)

chavis is good with LBs

O would be good for the DL and recruiting

does this open the door for mallory to stay on as DBs coach?

I hope they offer him a contract that coincides with the length of Les's, so we can fire everybody if we go back to the Hallnardo days.

hell no. Part 3 would be the need to run off Mallory and get a good DB coach.

i think his point was that Chavis works with LBs not DL

lazarre speculated today on the radio mallory is safer than peveto. I'd be shocked though mallory has lost too much respect in that locker room

anyone know much about ut's current db coach?

Ah maybe so. Chavis personally did some interesting schemes with DL stunts over the years so I just assumed he often got his hands dirty with the DL.

I'm not sure who their DB coach is but their secondary has been lights out this year with Berry and Morley. Granted, Berry is a once in a generation talent but their secondary has been outstanding.

I'm sure he has his hand in every position to an extent, but he is known for linebackers. He has had NFL offers in the past to be a linebackers coach.
