1. Saban's staff? That's like saying a birth mother who gives up a child for adoption gets credit for the proper rearing of kid. "The kid turned out great...must have had a great birth mother!" Ridiculous. Saban brought em on campus and Miles and his staff coached em. Their devleopment all goes on Miles resume.
I wouldn't say that the development of all of the players goes to Miles. It's more of a function of who spends more time with them. It wasn't until 2006/2007 that I think you could call them Miles' players. Before then, they were still performing mostly on what they learned from Saban.

I'm not saying it's a good analogy here, but the actual evidence seems to strongly suggest that birth parents are almost 100% the explanation for how adopted kids turn out.

THAT IS THE BIGGEST CROCK OF shite I HAVE EVER HEARD. Research suggests that although genetic contribution accounts for a predisposition to certain phenomena it is 100% the responsibility for the environment on whether or not it manifests itself.

I'm trying to think of which low rated players coming out of HS have really been developed by miles' staff. Lafell is a decent pick, I hadn't thought of him. But OTOH, I also don't see Miles' staff taking reject wide receivers and turning them into first round draft picks at cornerback.

If you had any credibility left....BOOM!

You're simply wrong. The most powerful predictor of outcomes in adopted children is the birth parents.

Hmmm, now we know why you suck so hard.

BUT it's absurd (and objectively false) to say that recruiting rankings are a 100% predictor of draft status. I really can't speak as to the birth parent assertion, although that smells like bullshite too.

have we gotten this anchored again.

You're simply incompetent. There are literally thousands of studies done that prove exactly the opposite of what you claim.

Ohhhh...you mean, "scream and demean young men in public and run out on your team when a better offer comes along"? That kind of stuff?
And by the way....with those kind of numbers, Saban gets ZERO credit for any success Bama is having now...after all, they are still performing on what they learned under Shula.

I said the adopted kids thing was "almost 100%". That might be slightly overstated, but genetics are by far the most powerful predictor.

Correct. Just like SAT scores are a very good predictor of college outcomes, regardless of how much people don't like to believe that either.
