Honorable my butt . He is full of crap . He is a media tough guy . Bring on fields , he'll bring Tomlinson back . And by,the ways, horned frogs , really . That's pretty stupid, how intimidating . When use come.out of the tunnel , will there be a horned frog waiting ? I hope not , we need our guys ready to play . Can't have everyone laughing and starting the game with piss in their pants.

Put Hill on the exercise bike for the entire game except for last offensive play

Wow. Just Wow.
Did anyone read or hear Coach Patterson's full comments?

You will not meet a more honorable coach than Gary Patterson and that's just the way it is.

And for what it's worth, Fields and Hill are no where near comparable.

Reporters then asked Patterson about the idea of holding a ‘team vote’ to allow his best player Devonte Fields, who is suspended for the LSU game, to be reinstated.

“My whole team would vote Devonte to be back on the team because they all want to win. That doesn’t teach life lessons.” -Gary Patterson

I think Hill being 100% fresh coming into SEC play is a very underrated idea right now.

I want him out 3 games as long as we are comfortable in the lead. 1 no matter what.

It's not like he's going to forget how to play RB, but he needs at least a few touches.

Ain't this some shite. Lol. That's why these kids don't respect or listen to a damn thing some of Us adults say to them. Smdh. This clown made all that fuss about Hill and now Fields is a game time decision. I hope JFF told the ncaa a bunch of whopper lies.

Gary Patterson is a total hypocrite. I wouldn't have a problem with him doing this if he didn't pull that holier than thou bullshite about Hill. Even if his comments about a "team vote" were warranted, to say so publicly then completely turn around and do this is chicken shite. I hope the media blasts him if Fields plays.

Why do you say that? I feel like no major news organizations have reported on this but it's inevitable and it will end up being a storyline by Saturday night.

Then he takes the 3 straight knees to end the game on the TCU 3 yard line.

I was going to say send him in on the very first play of the game, have him take a knee, then never come in again.

Essentially he was suspended from the game, but he got to rustle some TCU jimmies.

Gary Patterson is the worst kind of a-hole: the passive aggressive a-hole.

Not that I know much about GP, but it looks like he won't play. He's just being coy.

quote:

"You'll find out at game time," Patterson said. He also said his past record on such issues "speaks for itself," indicating that Fields is unlikely to play in the opener at 8 p.m. Saturday at AT&T Stadium.

quote:

"If you're a betting man, and you know me, you probably know which way to bet," Patterson said.

On another note.....

quote:

On Monday, Miles said Hill would be "withheld from play" but that he "wouldn't be surprised" if Hill made the trip to Arlington.

Patterson is just making himself sound like an assclown. Why go through all the trouble with this nonsense if he is so morally sound?

Which means he doesn't want to tip his hand. Just like Miles. Why couldn't he just admit, he's like every other coach out there instead of coming off all high and mighty?
