1. Max protect - their D line will be coming hard, so backs and tight ends have to pass block (see point 3).
2. They will focus on our WRs, so 6-10 yrd TE routes will
have to be completed.
3. This is the perfect game to throw to the RBs delaying
out of the backfield. They will dedicate a spy to
shadow JD on just about every play, and with their
focus on our WRs this is the perfect time to throw
to the RBs.

LSU defense: I'm through with trying to figure out why they are so bad, with no improvement as the season progresses.

It'll be tough but A&M will have their 3rd QB playing.

Matt House's defense is the perfect recipe for a 3rd-string QB. Career day forthcoming for the Faggie QB.

This has all the makings of a letdown game for us.

No it doesn’t. We just played Georgia State, not some grinding emotional division game against a top opponent we have to recover from.

Florida, coming off the Bama loss, was going to be the letdown game and they could stop JD at all.

Stats are oftentimes for losers to have something to crow about. Never more true than with this team.

Really?
How so?

Are you saying that we should ignore the stats that point to our defense being bottom tier?
And that if we simply ignore it, we will be winners?

Or that the stats that point to our top tier offense are for losers?

No one is stopping JD5, he is on a mission. aTm has not played an OL like LSU has either. Tigers roll. To many weapons.

Occasionally, but I don’t think we would stay in it. Williams is great in pass pro when he stays in the backfield. I expect him to hang out on deep shots. I could see Denbrock mixing things up with the TEs, keeping them in some plays and sending them others to keep the defense guessing.

Another great weapon for us is going empty to spread them out. It forces the defense to show man or zone coverage and, as good as their DL is, all Daniels needs is a sliver of daylight and he’s off to the races. If anyone misses an assignment, Daniels is dialed in and will make them pay. Williams has been great catching out the backfield the last two games. You put Nabors, Thomas, Lacy, Anderson and Williams out and Daniels alone with the ball- that’s a fricking nightmare for a defense.
