What do you do when you get to Atlanta? Taxi to hotel? Does MARTA go to Amtrak station there?

All good stuff to hear. We're really looking forward to it. Already making plans to bring a cooler with plenty booze.
It costs $70 each way - so $140 round trip. We've actually made arrangements to get a car ride back to BR on Sunday so that we can get back sooner. Thanks for the info guys.

It looks like there is a MARTA station at the train station in ATL. If not, I'm sure it's easy to catch a cab.

Took Amtrak from NOLA to NYC once and enjoyed it- went through Atlanta. I have no complaints. In Atlanta I noticed there were Marta buses but no light rail connection. I'd catch a cab from the station to the dome.
