Sorry pal, I was in Tiger Stadium that night, and that kid had no shot at moving the ball against our D....I don't give a damn who the OC is, WV won't score 20 points...no way, no how!! I'm a realist, I know how poorly our QB play can be...but JJ WILL be better and we will control the L.O.S...stop being a drama queen!!

good Lord Jake, you're more upbeat about WVU than most of our fans, lol...

I do agree though, WVU will beat LSU...thats my honest, non biased, fair and balanced, no rose colored glasses, outlook on the game...

Do I even need to state the obvious trend here? It's the damn Big East brah!! I'm scared to even ask if you could name another Big East QB, but it's obvious you can use GOOGLE!!

Are we all still talking about the FBS QB who lined up under the Tackle?

You do realize we nearly lost to them last season. they will be better offensively this season. You also do realize that their OC came from OSU. I watched that team play and up until the Nebraska game, they were in teh Top 10.
Don't be fooled by what you know from last year.
1. WVU has VERY fast WRs,
2. they have a Qb that got better as the season went on.
3. their running game will be better without devine.
We may have a good OC. They have a GREAT one.

Jake, put down the crack-pipe.

I've researched your boy Holgerson more than you could possibly dream, and he's flat-out amazing. I wish we could've brought him in, but it'd be like trying to teach kids who just learned how to read Tolstoy.

Having said that, West Virginia will provide him the least amount in the cupboard than ever before. His personnel is the RichRod Spread Offense. His pedigree is Air-Raid.

The splits between the lineman are the same. That's it. Literally.

He has a huge teaching job & his talent level isn't where he needs it to be.

Don't forget that he was dealing with a 27 year old at quarterback last year at Oklahoma State. I'm pretty sure you had no idea about that.

Their running game will also be NOWHERE NEAR as explosive without Devine. That's a flat-out idiotic statement, to be honest. Their WR's are sub-par. Beyond that, our secondary is without question the most talented in America.

Yeah, I said it. We have the most talented secondary in America. They simply do not have the horses.

Jake must be celebrating 4/20 a little too hard. He has to be really high to think LSU will start off 1-3.

There are about 4 or 5 games on our schedule that I feel sketchy about, and I can promise you this ain't one of them!! It may end up being close, cause that's just a Les Miles coached kinda game...but if LSU gets even the slightest bit of decent QB play, they will beat WV by 2 TD...WV has no chance at moving the ball IMO

Lining up under the tackle would be awesome, though...

You do know that Rich Rod spent 3 years at Michigan AFTER he left WVU, right? all of Rich's boys are gone...

Devine was explosive in a 1 cut and see ya later type play...which doesnt happen very much...we actually have RBs that can run inside this year, as well as outside...the running game will be better as a whole...

so you're not worried 1 bit about playing a road game against a team that will be better than the team last year? I hear ya...

to be fair, our offense the last 3 years couldnt move the ball on ANYBODY...that will change under Holgorsen...

We've got a better chance to beat LSU than West Virginia in my opinion and I don't feel too confident with our chances at all.

So was I and I saw PP7 single handledly win that game with punt returns.
Also you saw a hurt Noel Devine 9bad foot) We won that game 20-14 on 1 punt return and PP& giving us field position on others.
You saw the rest of their games like the one he put-up 300+?
I am not a fan of WVU, but I saw how they came back AT TS on our D and got it to 3 points. Their D held our O to 13 points. We were on pins and needles until the end of that game.

nah.
I just looked at the schedule.
1. we are horrible defensively against spread offenses. Oregon and WVu will run them VERY efficiently on par with AU.
2. We play AT WVU and MSU. If you don't believe that MSU will be even better AND if you watched them as the year progressed, you know that we will have trouble with them at their house.
So 1-3 is a real possibility unless we have a 180 on QB play.

This is simlpy false. You really do not know anything about their program.
I spent 4 months there last year and have been 8 weeks thus far this one. I have seen them play and have seen LSU play.
If last year was a gauge of this one, we scored 13 points on them. THAT IS IT!.
They moved the ball against us in the second half and got within 3.
So no, their cubbord is not bare. Better think again...

We saw how good we were with MO and PP7. How will be better losing arguably the #1 player in the country? Don't see it even with the experience those freshmen gained last year.
The key to this team is the Dline and those LBs. We get better Dline play we will be ok. However, I believe that losing KS in the middle calling the D is more of a concern than PP7. You lose your QB on D it will hurt especially due to the fact we are weakest at that position.

Are you trying to claim the Big East>>>the SEC?

And I can't get over all the MSU love. LSU has beaten MSU 18 of the last 20 times...and every time this millenium. Stop it. We beat them by over 3 TDs last season, and a lot of LSU fans say it was close. And that was at our ABSOLUTE WORST last season. So was WVU.
