In talking to some friends today we were talking our favorite topic, of course I'm talking about WVU football and LSU came up.
All of us checked out the Alabama spring game and came away impressed. The Tide is loaded.
Unlike my buddies, I took you nuts to win the SEC.
Take off your homer hat and will I be right?

As long as Jefferson doesnt play the whole year, I think you will be right.
If he starts the whole year, without any meaningful time from Mett or Lee. I think we lose 3 or 4 games.
And Im an expert.

Bama is no more loaded than we are. I don't have to be a homer to say that. We have plenty of talent to win it. It all depends on qb play, dline play and lb's

Thought this was going to be something about a home run.

LSU is going to win the SEC next year.

I have no honest clue what you're trying to say.

In all honesty, weren't they more loaded last year?

I think your QB play will determine it and i think both Mettenberger and the other guy who played against us last year play. Like Florid did with Tebow and there other guy.
Just my two cents. Personally against us I'd rather see the other guy verses Mettenberger.

If Gino Smith learns your new system, we will lose to you guys.
We will have no answer to that style offense because our D, which was better IMO last season, couldn't stop a second rated TAMU QB playing a similar style much less Cam Newton.
With that said, we will win the SEC and we will start 1-3.
Imagine that...

Absolutely, the LSU-Bama game will be a war and the winner will win the SEC and likely the national championship.

Arkansas will still be alive at that point and our last game against them may carry more weight.

You do realize we nearly lost to them last season. they will be better offensively this season. You also do realize that their OC came from OSU. I watched that team play and up until the Nebraska game, they were in teh Top 10.
Don't be fooled by what you know from last year.
1. WVU has VERY fast WRs,
2. they have a Qb that got better as the season went on.
3. their running game will be better without devine.
We may have a good OC. They have a GREAT one.

Oregon, MSU and WVU. We will be lucky to be 2-2. I will take a loss to Oregon and WVU and a win over MSU, but that remains to be seen how good they will really be. If the team that played that bowl game shows up they will be a real challenge at home.

It all depends on whether LSU solves the QB problem or not. They definitely have the talent to win the SEC otherwise.

you're talking about the guy who lined up under the offensive tackle, right?

Yeah this guy. Who got better as the year progressed. Most importantly he will have a better coach.
