Joe Alleva must go. Killer of a once proud football program.
Bumpety, bump, bump goes the thread.

Not that I have anything against Steve Ensminger, but I also think it's laughable that his contract extension and raise just got announced. Who is leading this circus?? Anyone with half a brain should know there will be no extensions or raises for anyone associated with the current football program.
Without having yet looked into the details of the Ensminger situation, hopefully this was something agreed on a while back and merely just being made public. Because under no circumstances should anyone at LSU football be given any raises or extensions from this point forward.

Just came across this article about Alleva while searching online for the details of his contract - written 5 days ago:
5 Reasons Joe Alleva is a failure as LSU's AD and should resign.

Good work, this was needed. That being said, i had my doubts and was pissed to be on fall back coach option #3. However, like most, we figured this to be just "maintain and we should be ok for a while until coach settles in>"
Nope! I watched first half of the BYU game and was not impressed with the product on the field. You generally want to give any coach the benefit of the doubt. However, I don't know any amount of time will correct this. This top 10 program is in the crapper and should not be there. Coach O is truly in over his head. Sadly enough, I think we end up having to "eat" 2018 before there's any chance of someone making a change. The buyout money and Governor will be in the way of any change needed.

It's looking like next year will be the equivalent of last year's basketball season. Really disappointing. We need change. We've been needing change. These "leaders" can't deliver change and have proven so in earnest.

I may be wrong if LSU miraculously pulls out a win Saturday (which isn't that far-fetched because UF is pretty bad themselves), but I think Alleva and Orgeron will both be fired Sunday.
I guess we'll have to wait and see. In the meantime, we all need to keep the heat on, they're listening and firing back (FKing email, Alleva meeting, McClure backtrack, etc). LSU definitely on the defensive this week, for sure, so our efforts are obviously working.

This is a trap. We are being punished by the LSU powers that be. We demanded to oust Miles. LSU said "OK frickers, Miles is out, enjoy Yaw Yaw."
Fans demand to oust Yaw Yaw, in order to punish us further LSU hires . . . Mike DuBose? Curly Hallman? A female trainer? to be HC.
Please stop asking LSU to pick a new coach. It's obvious that they are teaching us a lesson and will make it even worse, if that is possible.

I honestly believe a blind gorilla could have coached this team to a win over Troy.

We're not asking for a new head coach in this thread, unless you missed the subject line? A lot of administrative pieces will have to fall into place before LSU can get back to terrorizing the SEC. Joe Alleva has a demonstrated history of being out-negotiated with coaches, and stubs his toe on his giant EGO. Since when should people not be held accountable for repeatedly fricking up one of the most critical functions of being an AD?
Don't even get me started on how Mr. Lacrosse even got the d#%n job in the first place

Sauces? Or just a gut feeling?

Any competent board fired Alleva after the 15 negative press and now this.

Coach O and A.D. Joe A making headlines in the sports world across the country, LSU in a terrible spot
