Buddies and I are going there for our annual away game trip.Never been to the Plains before and wondering if anyone knew of any spots where LSU fans might be tailgating.
Thanks ahead of time!

I`ve heard that is one of the worst places to tailgate/ watch a game.
Although, this is all hearsay. I`ve never officially been.

I wouldn't say worst. I've always enjoyed my time in Auburn. It doesn't have the ferocity that LSU brings but I'm pretty sure nowhere does. Them (along with Alabama) see to have A LOT of pre-bought tailgates. Where companies basically set up cookie cutter tailgates and then rent out the spaces each week. As someone who loves the nuances of planning and setting up with my friends each week and thinking of new creative things we can do, this disgusts me.

i went two years ago. Its way better then Tuscaloosa. Tailgating pretty much sucks though but the nightlife is great and the women are beautiful. I would just go to sky bar and tailgate there you will enjoy yourself.

It's in the woods but they have a good game day atmosphere in the stadium. Hope for a night game.

Auburn is pretty fun although much more tame than LSU. I've been quite a few times but I have buddies who went to auburn and we normally hang with them for the first half of the day. The game atmosphere is much better than the tailgating. Can't give any specifics on spots, but there will be LSU tailgates scattered out all over. Seems like there's normally a Krewe or two that get together and have a big deal which can be fun too. Traffic usually sucks for us as we're driving over from ATL, so leave pretty early. There's only a couple ways to get from the interstate to campus.

Auburn is a great tailgating school. There will be plenty of LSU tailgates. Just walk around and find one.

I've been several times and it is one of my favorite spots to tailgate as well.
There are a few lots of Lem Morrison Drive (near their track) and a lot of LSU tailgates are there.
The main spots at the stadium are purchased (Tailgate guys) that the Auburn fans buy for the season and they are already there and setup Friday afternoon.

Alabama is phenomenal on gameday, similar to LSU in some regards.
Auburn reminds me of a Baptist convention

Just watch out. I was there in 2010 and had a corndog thrown at me. What a waste of a corndog!
