Welcome. I see you have an offer already, and others will welcome you. I would go around noon and brjng a couple of cheap lawn chairs. Just leave them somewhere. The people watching is worth it. You should make your way to watch the players and the band walk down the hill. I saw that this is occurrjng shortly after 4:00 today. It is truly a fun experience. After the band, you can slowly start making your way inside the stadium. We enjoy watching the players warm up pregame. You can sit in empty seats close to the field. This will give you a nice break from walking before going to your purchased seats.

It all depends on where your hotel is and where your parking pass is. We tailgate off of Nicholson under the live oak trees near the stadium. It’s the best exit route as we usually stay across the river. ( But when we stay off of Corporate or l’Auberge, we park near the baseball field or directly across from the stadium.)
The Pastime is a fun vibe full of old LSU nostalgia - your parents will dig it. My Uncle was in there after the Halloween Billy Cannon game and said Billy was there drinking with them all night. They have a bus for $20 and takes you to the stadium and back. Not a bad time.
The Varsity has some really good deals too.
We weren’t having a big blow out tonight due to a death in the Mrs family, but we’ll have a tent, booze and the 2:30 game on. Probably some pastalaya or something to snack on. Were just chilling today.
Be sure to buy your parents one if those “F Around and Find Out” Tshirts $20 sold by kids walking around the parking lot and stadium.
You can literally have any experience you want.
Enjoy!

The experience could not have better. As an lsu fan the result was obviously electric. But the whole experience outside the stadium was perfect. I never would have imagined how beautiful the campus was and we were welcomed by the first people we talked to.
I was also impressed by the politeness of the Tiger fans. We had some Ole Miss people in our section(415) and there was some good natured back and forth but nothing terrible. I've seen worse at a mid season NBA game. Tbh I was kinda thinking a night game would be a shite show, and I wouldn't have minded. It was loud. It was crazy. It was awesome. But fans didn't cross a line and my parents were able to have a PERFECT experience.
Thank you!

You couldn't have been more right! Luckily we strayed from this plan. I live outside NYC, and like an idiot we took Ubers being available at hours for granted. We definitely learned a lesson, but we got home eventually. Ill probably find parking next time.
