You couldn't have been more right! Luckily we strayed from this plan. I live outside NYC, and like an idiot we took Ubers being available at hours for granted. We definitely learned a lesson, but we got home eventually. Ill probably find parking next time.

The experience could not have better. As an lsu fan the result was obviously electric. But the whole experience outside the stadium was perfect. I never would have imagined how beautiful the campus was and we were welcomed by the first people we talked to.

I was also impressed by the politeness of the Tiger fans. We had some Ole Miss people in our section(415) and there was some good natured back and forth but nothing terrible. I've seen worse at a mid season NBA game. Tbh I was kinda thinking a night game would be a shite show, and I wouldn't have minded. It was loud. It was crazy. It was awesome. But fans didn't cross a line and my parents were able to have a PERFECT experience.

Thank you!

Tailgating for Older Guests

Thank you all so much for the recommendations in other tailgating posts. My family is Syracuse fans, but we adopted LSU in the Honey Badger era when we realized that watching the ACC/Big East just wasn't doing it and we needed a team in the Major League. Since then we've watched every LSU game...on TV.

This Saturday we will be making our pilgrimage to Tiger Stadium.

My parents are on the older side (70 +), and they have about one good knee between them. Do you have any recommendations for Older participants that maybe cant spend 4 hours walking around the tailgate? I'm wondering if there are good places to sit and chill throughout the party. I am curious if there are seats & shade in some of the bigger tailgates y'all have recommended (unsupervised bus, damn strong tailgate, kocka, bayou bandits). I have heard about Chimes and Walk-Ons as an option too. It seems like PMAC is only for season ticket holders.

Would it make sense to buy some camping chairs to carry around?
Can I buy seatbacks at Tiger Stadium?

We are super excited to experience it all, it is more a question of endurance.
Thank you,

Good advice on everything. Definitely the Uber situation. Coming from the NYC area, we were expecting that to be way easier. Luckily we are ready for it and we will drive next time.

Thank you!
