Tailgating at Texas 9/7/19

Where’s are all the tailgates going to be set up? My crew is thinking about setting up a spot. Any tips or pointers?
The Tigers are going to dominate on the field, we will dominate off the field. Purple and gold take over of Texas!

This is what someone posted on here one day. Gold looks like first come first serve. I say we beat all the shorthorn fans to there spots, pound cold pops, saw em off at 630pm, then celebrate at the rustic tap that night!

I understand that Texas is situated in the middle of downtown Austin, but this is still the worst tailgating I think I’ve ever seen. SMU is way better than this and they only allow Premium tailgating.

Its not in downtown. Its North of downtown but its still pretty dense there.

UT and downtown are adjacent and an interstate runs next to the stadium. Tailgating is done on concrete

Texas “tailgating” consists of people crammed under tents in parking lots near the stadium.
A big reason why is because their Greek houses are off-campus, so every fraternity has a big tailgate, which is not allowed at LSU and most SEC schools.

On that map I sent I will be set up somewhere along that creek/ditch north of stadium. Look for purple and gold and your more than welcome to come by or set up next to us and we will party. It would be nice to set up by a lot of tiger fans. I will stay up to date on here as it gets closer and see if there will be a location where a lot of us will be together.

We are parking in the Trinity Garage just south of the stadium. Not looking for a big setup, we will probably get there mid morning and find some shade around the garage and hang out.
