By end of the year, you mean bowl game?

End of the regular season JJ couldn't beat lowly and pathetic Arkansas.

NC not only couldn't beat lowly NC State, but got rolled quite easily by a weak team.

Who did NC play that was better than 3 certain teams LSU played?

What's your point?

LSU got rolled by Arkansas. fricking Arkansas. That and Troy fricking embarrassed the football team.

Better question, is who did LSU beat that was better than anyone that UNC beat?

Yeah. That's why Michigan and Ohio State always play their basketball games in front of 100k plus crowds. And Syracuse football has won 10 games total in the last 4 years and still draws bigger crowds than Syracuse basketball.

LSU has won 13 SEC championships to UF's 8.

I'm talking overall - total history - total number of wins - LSU is the better football program. The only category UF beats LSU is Heismans.

LSU 38 GT 3

UNC 28 GT 7

Deficit for LSU: 35

Deficit for UNC: 21

LSU would win 14-0. Are you having fun with this, dipshit?

they had a 5 loss season, best team they beat was GT who we destroyed. They lost to Virginia (5-7), Maryland (8-4), NC State (6-7) by 31, and almost lost to Duke.

LSU lost to Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Ole Miss, and Arkansas. 4/5 were very good teams. 1/5 for NC were good teams

Well, dipshit seeing as GT beat UGA I guess LSU would have lost to GT as well. You know, since UGA skull fricked us on our own field.

Answer the question if you can.

Beating SC at SC and beating AU at AU early in the year before they imploded are both better than any win NC had.

Ga. Tech is a wash, but technically LSU's win is better since it was on a neutral field, but in Ga. Tech's home town.

Now answer my question.

AU was horrible all year.

Auburn and South Carolina were both better than McNeese State and Duke. And Georgia Tech was better than anyone else the Heels beat.

And as for this absurd "right now" standard for a "surpassed" question, did you consider LSU basketball to have "surpassed" UNC basketball when we had the lead with about 17 minutes left in the game?

The answer to your question is clearly and resoundingly "no" in every conceivably meaningful sense. The only sense in which the question could potentially be no is in the sense that there could theoretically be a moment in time when there is not clear and irrefutable proof that all three major sports teams at LSU would automatically be guaranteed to beat their counterpart at UNC right now.

If that is what you are asking, then the answer could be "yes", just as much as the answer could be "yes" to the reverse question.

Dipshit, I was being smart allic because you are dumb enough to initiate a UNC>LSU in football discussion, and now you use the transitive property.

You want to diss us for beating Troy the way we did, what about their incredulous 8 point win over McNeese? WOW.

Because he hates himself, and the only way he can mitigate that hate is to try and provoke negative emotions in other people. Because if other people also feel bad, then it makes it okay that he is miserable. It is a common tactic of low self-esteem self-loathers that can't accept what they view as their own terrible failings. It is one of those instances where an old cliche ("misery loves company") is actually borne out by modern explorations of psychology and behaviour.

Negative! Defense was quite good early, but the LSU game changed their season. From that point it went down fast.

Football teams usually have that season-changing game that can turn a season either for the better or worse. AU went from an average team to a very bad team after LSU.

Point being, NC didn't win a road game better than AU regardless of how bad AU was.

Football is clearly in LSU's corner. LSU has dominated the best conference in the country for a decade, where UNC has been terrible.

I do believe Butch Davis is the best program builder in the country and he is hands down the best recruiting head coach as well. He was my #1 choice to replace Saban in 2004. Unfortunately at the time he was being paid by the Browns to sit at home.

But it would take 5 years of 10 win seasons by UNC and 8 win seasons by LSU to even mention their football program in the same sentence as LSU.
