Im not to sure bout Bolden never watched him or Penn st, but have yoy seen the size of liggins, if moffit could have got ahold of that big ol boy it would take half of a defense to stop him

Hell, lets just make Montgomery the option QB...we gotta have one.

My hope is that he is just here to add depth in case Mett goes down.

He is and in case the other 2 LSU QBs in from of him don't pan out.

Bolden is an insurance policy that may or may not pay off, but when chit happens it's better to have the policy than not.

I don't know why this seems to be soooooo hard for some to get.

Oh, and no to the just for Bolden option package.

yeah, I get all that, but there was a recruiting service that compared him to JJ, so we screwed. And Liggins is not going to be able to run the option.

Why get this guy? If he wants a fricking JJ type please. If he wants a real option QB he has been having his finger up his arse for 3 years as the No. 1 Duel threat QB (RS) has been utilized so wrong until now. Shep is better than JJ, Bolten, and Randall at running the option, and I bet he knows how to throw the ball enough to make him a hell of an option guy at this level (Just as a relief-run a few series for Mett type of thing)

Oh hell yeah! Get some Spencer Ware in there as hell.. he was a qb in high school.. let em all run that triple O and sometimes bust out an occasional deep ball.

PSU fan here. I've watched every snap Bolden has taken over the past 2 years, and he's NOT a running threat...at all. I know he was labeled as a "dual threat QB" coming out of high school, but he has never shown any ability to run the football at the college level. He just doesn't have much speed or agility.

He's a tall, lanky kid with a rocket for an arm, but he has no touch or accuracy. His confidence was really shaken when he lost his starting job after a concussion and he never regained his swagger.

Anyway, I think he's a good kid and a change of scenery might do him well. I'm certain he received subpar QB coaching from Jay Paterno, so maybe your QB coach will bring out his talents.

Woaaaaah, buddy. Don't bring logic and facts into this. This isn't the place for those shenanigans.

He'll get the same one Jordan Jefferson did...and of course he need to get use to that SEC aggressiveness and speed.
