Not sure why people don't believe that

There is absolutely no reasonable argument you can make to say Jefferson should have started after the Tennessee and Florida games last year. If he wasn't pulled after his performance in those games compared to Lee's performance, he'll never not start

We also have a different OC now, since JJ could run im sure GC wanted JJ in there for he could bail him out of tite situations with the run

Mett would have to be heads above dominant. Otherwise, it's JJ's job.

JL= 170yds, 0TD
vs UF:
JJ= 142yds total offense, 2TDs

F, Les would have sat him down if he had a better option last year.

Can you win ugly and move up into contention for teh NC? Because if Jefferson loses ugly we ain't got a chance.

False. After last year, what was the better option to JJ? JL came up very poorly when he could have separated himself from JJ. There were times I was dying to see JJ, but having hindsight, I don't think Les made a bad decision giving JJ the majority.

With a new OC, I think Mett has a great chance to prove himself in spring practice and be the starter without having to suffer a loss.

N'ah. I think that Les learned a valuable lesson in '06 against AU. It's better to try the passing game than to lose conservatively.

If LSU is handling their opponents despite bad play by Jefferson, Miles will throw Mett in when the going gets tough. Likely, he'll get Mett some experience prior to baptism by fire.

I still think its hard to judge...JJ plays fine in practices...game time he gets timid as far as throwing goes

inhale.

It's 79 degrees outside, the breeze is gently blowing, the sun is shining and somewhere in Louisiana an LSU fan is furiously typing on his keyboard in a dimly lit musty room filled with garbage and half eaten burritos from taco bell that the sky is falling or will soon be falling for sure.

exhale.
