This game was never as big as the A&M series

As long as they keep the game on Black Friday, I'm down.

Hey redstick, LSU beat the crap out of the Aggies while I went to LSU. Those three early SWC foes were like playing ULL today. We also played the Aggies at home every year. You need to check your history. We played Rice and their stadium was bigger than Tiger Stadium in those days. I graduated from LSU back in '72.

My 2 cents. I can't see how this is a bad thing. LSU would have a better record against Arkansas had this not been the final game of the year. A normally outmanned UArk squad strategically got to take advantage of some hobbled LSU teams in the past.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't Arky play the same number of games as LSU did in a regular season? Also, didn't they play against the same Sec West teams that LSU did? How was LSU hurt and Arky wasn't?

aTm was waxing our arse in the early 90's. I don't need to check the facts to know that.

And we were blowing out A&M's arse in the sixties and seventies.

TAMU will be a good rival for us and it creates more exposure for LSU in the Texas market...

We recruit heavy in Texas. So us getting exclusive coverage every year in Texas is nice...

This game has always pulled decent numbers for CBS
