The previous pitch was in the identical spot and called a ball.

Why would he swing?

If you’re going to strike out with 1 out, for the love of god, swing the bat. You can’t go down looking there

Exactly. An elevated pitch easy to put in play and get a run in.

That was rough. #1 draft pick strikes out without swinging.

Because you don’t leave it up to the Ump when it’s close

Bad call for strike 3, but the pitch before was better. Dylan should have come out of his shoes on the 2-0 pitch…..why is he taking?

At least foul it off and try again. Ump can’t decide how to be consistent on that outside edge.

Previous pitch should’ve been called a strike. Too close not to swing!

But it wasn't, so Crews thought he was getting a free base and a run.

12 consecutive balls prior to that pitch.

Game after game this crap happens. Bases loaded less than two outs and LSU doesn't score.
Our coach quite obviously has not taught these guys the importance of putting the ball in play....it doesn't have to be a HR. A ground ball, a fly ball all probably wins the game. This team has a lot to learn about how to win.....3run hr's are not going to work out to get to Omaha. That's not real baseball.

Maybe 3-0, but he’s too good to get one by him straight down the middle.
