This. LSU fans are absolutely the worst.

Any coach that watched that game yesterday would say, "Holy frick I could do a shite done better than that."

No coach worth his salt is afraid of pressure. Every coach has an ego that make him think he is better than every other coach.

Anyone who sees the talent we have on these 8 win teams that could be 10+ win teams with the proper coaching.

You think a good coach would have won 10 games with freshman quarterbacks last year?

And we still have a chance to win 10 this year.

Pelini had a lot to do with our past success.....believe it or not.

Miles must GO.

YOu would have kept Zook

This is probably the best analogy of all. Even better than Larry Coker. Zook should never have gotten the job at Florida.

LSU had run out of top choices when Miles was hired, and Miles' teams play much like Zook's teams at Florida did.

Les Mile will never right the ship he is sinking at LSU.

Betcha you were one of those who wanted to keep Dinardo, huh?? This is why we would remain in mediocrity if some listened to this vomit

You think a good coach would have gone down to Troy 31-3?

Would a good coach have lost to shitty Arky last year?

Would they have been down to La Tech at half?

Would they have lost to Kentucky and Arky in 07?

Would they have needed a goal line stand to be Miss. St.?

I think I've made my point.

Dale,

You're just wrong on this.

But, you are obviously a long time LSU fan and for that you have my respect.

And I have a chance to hit the powerball this year also. Not holding my breath on that one.

Yep...we beat UGA and Arky for sure, and probably play Ole Miss much differently if we have a decent defense last year.

Yeah, Les screwed up, badly, but the problem is not as bad as the meltdown I see on here

Name a worse coaching blunder that has occurred in LSU football since 1994, or in Div. I-A college football in the last five years.

He didn't just screw up, badly. He committed probably one of the five or ten most atrocious coaching blunders in all of football history.

I love it when people really seperate themselves from the pack. In your case, sometimes it's better to just hang with the pack.

Fear of success. Fear of LSU in the 80s and 90s. Fear of becoming Nebraska. Fear of greatness. It's just plain fear.

I heard the same arguments in the 70's when Charlie Mac was here, then we spent 25 years searching for a coach that could come close to duplicating what Mac did.

Wrong.

Arnsparger and the first two years of Archer were much much better than the last few years of Charlie Mac.

After we fired Mac, we had two bad years under Jerry Stovall. Remember, we had actually hired Bo Rein. We'll never know how that would have worked out.

The real mistake was NOT hiring Steve Spurrier instead of Mike Archer. We compounded that mistake by following up Archer's failure with Curley Hallman.

Getting rid of Mac wasn't the problem at all.

This is true, & believe me, I have the red arse too.
But do any of you really believe Miles will be fired this year?
