So, I've never made it to a game at the Super Dome. Any help would be appreciate.

For The LSU v. FSU game, is LSU the Home team? I am guessing yes, but never saw this in stone anywhere.

What section does the band sit in?

Are there seats to avoid in the lower bowl? I think I remember some folks saying that the lower bowl has seats that are under the club seat overhang and are awful.

The endzone seats ok?

Any other tips or secrets of you SD vets?

Thanks in advance.

LSU is the home team- not a bad seat in the dome.

I sought out tix in the end zone. Sat there for the BYU game a few years ago and really liked that perspective. Like other have said, not really a bad seat in the Dome.

I like it almost everywhere. I don’t like being super low at any football game though.

Do not sit in middle level in the end zones. Can’t see the back part of the end zone

Bring ear plugs if you have sensitive ears. That place keeps tinnitus doctors in business.

The band usually sits in one of the end zones at the SD. I was wondering the same thought

Not sure if it will be the same setup, but at the Clemson game, the band was in sections 122 and 124.

Not entirely accurate. The Loge (and certain areas of the terrace) over the end zones (when high enough) cuts off the view to end end zone you’re sitting above.

Terrace sideline is always a good bet, can see everything. Sitting in the plaza for the first time and I’m curious to see what the view will be like. From sec 135 specifically

Damn, really? I just bought myself lower-row 600 seats as a birthday gift to myself.

I had a guy tell me to bring a jacket as it can get super cold inside, any truth to this? I'm normally a sweaty dude even at 40 degrees so I don't see this as a negative.

Yes if its a preseason game/less than capacity crowd. When it is packed and you are moving your arms cheering creating heat like the rest of the crowd it feels great. I usually where pants/jeans and a short sleeve or long sleave shirt and that is fine.

Anywhere in Loge middle section is best. Very Low in terrace is great. End zone seats are closer to field but avoid lower plaza level end zone. Horrible seats.

There are plenty of bad seats in the dome

The avoid the further back rows of the lower bowl as the overhang sucks

Correct. We have sat in the 630s several times in the Dome. They are often among the cheapest seats.
We sat there for the BYU game. Not a bad view for 1/3 the price of good seats.

IMO the first five rows of the Terrace between the 20's are the best seats in the dome. You are closer to the field sitting at the edge than pushed back in the loge. You see all the plays develop.

We're home team. Only place I wouldn't recommend is right in the Florida State Section. They sold their 30K, so will be nearly their whole side.
