That being said, anyone who doesn't agree a change needs to be made at the OC spot is willfully blind to the situation.

I agree. Anyone that doesn't think offensive changes are needed, is dumb. We are far to predictable. I can usually tell what play we will run by our formation and motions. If I can I know DC can.

Why people keep calling for a new OC is beyond me.
The OC is not the problem. It's the stubborness of Miles not letting an OC do their own thing.

But but but he won the national championship on his Xbox dynasty 3 seasons in a row so that HAS to mean that he knows everything about running a college offense

Yeah no one is defending the offense. Just the most successful head coach in LSU history. But yeah we are out of control for doing so.

Saying LSU wins in spite of Miles is one of the most idiotic statements one can make.

They win and lose because of Miles. Thats it. He should get all the credit and all the blame. He is the head coach.

I've always acknowledged Miles' success while stating I didn't believe him to be a great coach.

That's personal opinion and you have a right to it, but what's not opinion is the man has a "great" record.

I don't care how or why he leads BCS/SEC football in wins since we hired him...only that he does.

2010 to now says differently when comparing it to 05 to 08.

not too mention the statements from lsu players public and non public but you go on believing what you want if it makes you feel better. you have no clue who i know among others here.

Hell you do not trust your eyes?

i would like to hear these.

8 season with 120 players on a roster in any given year, id assume there should be plenty of them.

He's been pretty similar to Jim Tressel or Bob Stoops, so I think he deserves roughly the same level of regard. Which means, based on my experiences on this board, that he deserves to be called "Big Game Les" and it should be repeated over and over that he can't win big games.

He's been a good coach and a good steward of the program, but there are better coaches out there right now.

If what we've seen called "LSU's offense 2012" is the result of Les Miles letting Studthorpe call the plays, scheme, etc, then they should be summarily fired, demoted, or in some way removed from any further connection with LSU's offense at any level and Les should immediately find a decent OC to fix the whole broken mess.

If what we've seen called "LSU's offense, 2012" is the result of Les Miles play calling and scheming, tinkering, or whatever, and if he can't see the problem, step away from the offense and make a real OC hire, then LSU is in worse trouble than we thought.

Let us see your source telling us the LSU OC can't call the plays he wants to.

I really don't know how some of you get by day to day in your life away from here if your posting here is an example of your daily thought process.

Last yr we beat teams which finished the season ranked #1, #4, and #5.

This yr we beat teams ranked #5 and #8.

I'm pretty sure when you beat teams ranked in the Top 8 of the nation at the end of the yr most fans not undergoing some form of mental health treatment would call those "big wins".

I'm damn sure any L's to Top 10 teams are seen as "big" L's.

I'd sure like to see the Louisiana State University football team "Sniff" its third National Championship in four years!
