There is absolutely nothing wrong with Jump coming in relief if needed and throwing 30 pitches.

He’s going to throw 25 game pitches that day regardless if he plays or not.

Unless something happens in other tournaments and LSU would be a host site should they win it all. Then and only then would I throw Jump

No Jump, Holman and our best 2 maybe 3 relievers (Herring, Ack and Little) need to basically head back to BR. No need to extend anyone and they've already pitched this week. Let the young/ struggling guys figure it out. If we get shelled then whatever.

Well he can throw it in a controlled environment then. Everything wrong with him pitching in a game the rest of this tournament.

Jake Brown will start.
;
He was the best pitcher in the state last year and was drafted as a pitcher.

There’s a difference between simulated pitches/bullpens and live game throwing.

Whatever. He’s not going to die if he comes in for the 9th inning when we are up 1 or 2.
He’s had enough rest to throw 20 pitches, and he’ll have until Sat/Sun to rest until his next start as Holman can start game 1.
His career won’t end or be shortened b/c he throws 20-30 pitches on Sunday.
