Dude was a team guy regardless of not starting and getting beat out. He worked hard and did what was asked of him. He was always pumping the team up and in the middle of celebration. Coach O always had great things to say about him. Hope he has one heck of a career.

Wouldn’t he surprised if Carroll tries to make him an edge rusher

Something he should’ve done coming out of HS and he probably would’ve made a lot more money already

Great story. Never will forget the article about him being homeless as a youngster. Hope he plays many years in NFL.

From homeless. To star HS FB player. To college graduate (first in this fam to be a HS grad and first to be a college grad). To national champion. To NFL draft pick.

These are the stories and athletes that should always be celebrated

Generations of his descendants will be blessed by what a good steward and hard worker he has been.

Whether he makes it in the NFL or not, Stephen Sullivan will succeed in life. Everything I've ever heard or read about him points to a VERY high character young man.

Much respect.

I’m stating here that he will outperform the Saints 3rd Rd Pick

Great thread and well frickin said. He is my favorite player on the team because of his attitude and selflessness. His reaction to getting drafted, even in the 7th round, warmed my heart. He looked so grateful. Hope he has a long and wonderful NFL career. He deserves it.

Seattle is a great fit for him too IMO.

My biggest memory of him was Darrell Williams catching a swing pass and Sullivan blocking about 40-50 yards downfield. That made him a favorite for me

“What if I told you ...... “

Can’t wait for the 30 for 30 ... man I love #10 for all he’s been through and how he represented LSU and his family with class.

His aggressive downfield blocking was clear evidence that he took his role on the team with the perfect attitude. You could tell he was going to do whatever he could do to help the team win, regardless of whether it showed up on a stat line.

Have you seen film on Trautman? Trautman was an absolute steal and arguably the best TE in the draft.
