football is the ultimate team sport, and saying so-and-so qb is better because his record is _____ as a starter is a completely worthless statement.
No, its not worthless. 99.9% of all offensive plays start with the QB. He has to make a ton of decisions. How many times have you heard the NFL described as a QB driven league? There is reason it is described as such!
You can win with an average to great QB. You can't win with a dumb arse horrible QB.

your opinion is that you're fine with JJ starting/playing more than Lee.
It was WKU...who cares who started/played more snaps??
If JL is soooooooo hurt/shaken by not starting a meaningless game, shame on him.
I know this is conjecture, but I don't think we beat Bama without JJ.
You think the LSU staff might have said after that game, the best thing for LSU would be for us to get JJ lots of work vs. wku?
How bout we just wake up and smell the coffee cause we don't have a star QB or one who has proven, to this point in time, that he can do everything that's needed for LSU to be a champion. imo

This is what aggravates me about this fanbase. Every fricking fan feels entitled to give our head coach a coaching lesson and be "aggravated" with his decisions. Well, newsflash. We are 10-0, we are the unanimous and undisputed #1 team in the land, and our coach is one of the best and highest paid coaches in the country, and rightfully so. So please, leave the coaching decisions to our damn strong head coach. He is the head coach at LSU. He will be the head coach at LSU. He has a championship game to play in, and he's excited about the opportunity of his damn strong football team to play in it.
Thank you very much. Have a great day.

The problem with ur argument is lee isnt a great qb. JJ and lee are not and never will be on trent dilfers level, let alone archie manning.

Im really interested in seeing this list.
Hell, just name one.
Good point, there may be one or two. Saban does a terrible analysis of his team to the fans. Richt here in UGA country is actually pretty good as far as communication. But I'm not a UGA or Bama fan, so I don't care. I care about the Tigers.

Amen!
Les is like EF Hutton, when he speaks everybody listens.
thing is you got to listen really closely cause it is in les speak after all. Therefore if you haven't been listening closey for several years you got no idea what the hell he just said. but you can be sure the people on this board know exactly what he is talking about with his strong team and their want to win
yes i drank the cool aid and do like the guy.

Well, he can't do any better than 10-0.
So be happy.
So be happy.

Les comes from the era of Bo and Woody. They had fierce rivalry games for years that spawned some very secretive borderline paranoid tendencies with regard to how each handled the outflow of info about their teams. Les obviously subscribes to that point of view.
Thats why Gilbleaux doesnt like him. Tough shite.....thats what Les wants and he has earned the right to run HIS team any way he sees fit.
For those who dont like it.....I say
DEAL WITH IT

How do you feel about a person that decides it's ok to criticize the team or the coaches yet gets his/her back up when they are criticized for doing it?
Doesn't that smack of hypocrisy to you? Are criticizers immune from criticism? I would think that the opposite is true. If one feels the need to criticize then he is opening the door for a critical response.
Agree or disagree?

Tebo may be changing some of that opinion regarding the NFL..... just saying. No one calls him average to great as a passer. Yet, he is a winner.

My feelings don't get hurt when Ford scores and not Ware.... and my feelings don't get hurt when JJ plays and not Lee (and you can switch the order on both sets of names). Just win. So far, LSU and Miles have been perfect at that this year. So enjoy. If LSU loses this year-- all hell will break loose-- Until then

Considering that he is currently the coach of the number 1 ranked team in the country, it's hard to see how he can improve on that.
Reading all of this is a lot like listening to the guys in the mailroom gripe about how the CEO of the company is running things and how they would do better if they could only get out of the mailroom.

The problem with that is that objective things are rarely written. Most of it is more like crying because the complainers aren't seeing the plays, players and scores that THEY want to see.
It is more like they are hurt because their personal goals aren't being met.
I am having a hard time believing that some guy that works in a chemical plant along the river has the indepth football knowlege to write an objective, informed and accurate criticism.

Dude,
Although I do not totally disagree with your post, I have to say that Les is trying to instill competition in the minds of the QBs & RBs. By this way I guess he is throwing the starting position up for grabs.
Also I see that he is trying to distribute the carries to all the RBs so that everyone can see some playing time and the best performer on a particular Saturday gets the nod for more carries. I don't see that as a problem and as long as we taste success. However with regards to QBs I definitely see that JL being sidelined a little bit. Also Les may be thinking that JL is not able to handle pressure when the pocket collapses. On the other hand JJ is mobile and is able to elude tacklers.
We will have to wait and see if his formula translates to a NC for LSU

Then you agree with all of his poisitions?
Based upon what?
Did JL win any of the games?
